COOK TIME

We're always looking for something to spark up our fruit salad. Well, here's a fantastic treat for everyone, and any kind of fruit goes with it. And does it ever go. . . .

What You'll Need:
  • 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 jar (7-1/2 ounces) marshmallow cream
  • Your favorite flavor liqueur to taste (about 1 tablespoon)
What To Do:
  1. In a bowl, mix all the ingredients until smooth and creamy.

  2. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled.

  3. Makes about 2 cups.

Notes

This dip is especially good with strawberries, but I have also served it with melon balls (cantaloupe and honeydew), grapes, apples, bananas, and mandarin oranges. It's great for fast holiday entertaining!

I have made this dip using 2-3Tbsp of maraschino cherry juice in place of the liqueur. I then used approx 4-6 of the cherries as a garnish. I have also tasted this dip made with vanilla in place of the liquid used to flavor. I think any way you make it, it turns out so so good!

I made this dip and used orange extract instead of liqueur....YUM!! (Of course, any flavor extract would work)

I've made this using strawberry cream cheese, marshmallow cream, and a half container of whipped cream. Or substitute pineapple cream cheese as well.

I've made this, but omitted the liqueur and put in some cinnamon. It is especially great with strawberries, it's sweet so the berries don't have to be.

I used wildberry wine cooler instead of liqueur, and use as a sauce over a mixture of a variety of fruit( rasberry, blueberry, grapes, cantalope, kiwi, strawberry, apple, banana, clemintines) and it was the best fruit salad I ever had. I love fruit salad.

Instead of liquer, I use maraschino cherry juice. It gives the dip a pink tint. I've also heard of using lemon juice, but I haven't tried it.

I've made this dip, but insted of liquer our family uses orange juice, a little sweet condensed milk or lemon. All three are great.
