Easy Pecan Pie Bars

(6 Votes)
20 Min

Pecan pie lovers, rejoice! Now you can get your favorite taste in bar cookie form. That's right, these little wonders taste just like bite-sized pecan pies!

What You'll Need:
  • 1 (8-ounce) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup corn syrup
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
What To Do:
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
  2. Separate crescent dough into 2 large rectangles. Press rectangles over bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of prepared baking pan. Press to seal perforations in dough. Bake 5 minutes.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients; pour over crust.
  4. Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes, or until golden. Let cool; cut into bars.

These absolutely sound amazing and delicious i will be trying them this month so after I make them I will take a picture of them and post it on the site and then I will come back and let you know how well they went over Okay !! Thanks For The Recipe 3 O) 3

These were so easy and delicious. All the Pecan pie lovers in my family loved them.

I made these yesterday and they are very good

The ingredients didnt mention what size egg to use:sm,med, lrg

Long-standing convention says eggs are always "large" unless otherwise specified.

I made these the other day and they are delicious. It says to put the dough up 1/2" up the sides, but it left too much crust on the outer edge. And dumb me, I put everything in the filling except the egg. It was sitting right in front of me and I just overlooked it! However, it still turned out delicious and thanks for the recipe. Next time I won't be do dumb and will add the egg, I am sure it will make a difference. :)

Aw, don't be so hard on yourself! We all screw up. Still tasted good you said. :)
