No harvest celebration is complete unless dessert is involved. And no matter how you cut 'em, these bars are tops!

Serves: 15

Preparation Time: 7 min

Cooking Time: 40 min

What You'll Need:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 package (7-1/2 ounces) almond brickle chips
What To Do:
  1. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and butter until crumbly. Press into the baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes.

  3. In a medium bowl, combine the remaining ingredients; mix well and spread evenly over the crust, covering the surface completely.

  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until bubbly. Allow to cool completely then cut into bars and serve.

Notes

To make these extra sinful, sprinkle 1 cup of semisweet chocolate chips over the top immediately after removing them from the oven.
