(4 Votes)
MAKES
2 Dozen Bars
COOK TIME
30 Min

Irresistible Toffee Cookie Bars give us so many reasons to love them. From the tempting aromas wafting through our house as they bake, their to-die-for taste, to the easy all-in-one pan clean-up.

What You'll Need:
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/4 cups almond toffee bits (see Note)
  • 1 1/4 cups English toffee bits or crushed English toffee candy bars
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
What To Do:
  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Place butter in a 9- x 13-inch baking dish; heat 4 minutes or until butter melts.

  2. Layer graham cracker crumbs and remaining ingredients in baking dish with melted butter. Firmly press mixture into baking dish.

  3. Bake 25 minutes or until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely in baking dish on a wire rack. Cut into bars.
Notes

If you can not find almond toffee bits, you can substitute 1-1/4 cups chopped slivered almonds.

I have a simple request to make can you use a fat free sweeten condense milk ? If yes how will it turn out and how many bars does this make Thanks for Sharing this Recipe 3

These are the magic cookie bars recipe with toffee bits added I always use walnuts instead of pecans, taste much better and I also add coconut

I'm not an expert candy maker but I would assume you can use any nut. I would suggest chopped almonds

I'm allergic to pecans, can you use another nut??

love mmmmohhhhhmmmmm

CAN YUO REPLACE THE CHOCOLATE WITH COCONUT????

You can normally find the "bits" with the chocolate chips, but in some stores they are only available during the holidays.

Where do I locate the the almond toffee bits and English toffee bits? I see the questions but not the answers, u less the response dated on June 27, 2012 is the response for most questions.

Kroger food stores have a large selection of chips, bits, and baking products, more so during Holidays.

Another thing you can do if you can't find English Toffee bits, is get a couple of Heath Bars. Freeze them and then slam them on the counter, or use a pan or whatever, they break up in bits hit them till you get the sizes you want, and pretty much like the ones that you buy in the store, but cheaper.

If you can not locate almond toffee bits, you can increase the amount of English toffee bits. However, we do not recommend doubling the amount, just change it to 2 cups of English toffee bits. Thank you for your questions and enjoy!

What brand is the almond toffee bits? What is the difference between Heath english toffee bits and almond toffee bits?

what is the difference between almond toffee bits and english toffee bits? I can't find the almond toffee bits, but I found Heath English Toffee Bits.

wondering why the toffeebits are listed twice in the ingredients.... will still make it today, thinking serving it with good vanilla icecream

Do you only use the one ingredient for toffee bits when you make it? I can't find the Almond Toffee Bits, but found Heath English Toffee Bits.
