Most self-proclaimed chocolate lovers are cautious about trying anything made with white chocolate, but I assure you it's just as good as the dark stuff - and these bars prove it.

Makes: 15 bars

Cooking Time: 40 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 package (18 ounces) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
  • 3 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3 eggs
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package (12 ounces) white chocolate chips (see Note)
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
What To Do:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat a 9- x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

  2. Press two thirds of the cookie dough into the bottom of the baking dish.

  3. In a medium bowl, with an electric beater on medium speed, beat the cream cheese, eggs, sugar, and vanilla until creamy. Stir in the chocolate chips and nuts and pour into the baking dish.

  4. Crumble the remaining cookie dough and sprinkle evenly over the cream cheese mixture.

  5. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the center is set. Allow to cool completely then cover and chill for at least 4 hours. Cut into bars and serve.
Notes

Any type of white chocolate chips or bars can be used, including imported ones. If using bars, though, coarsely chop them to desired size. Remember - the better the quality of the chocolate, the better the taste of the bars.
