This is way too heavy on the tortillas. Next time I'm going to use corn chips, and add chopped olives and green chilies to it, and add taco seasoning to the ground beef. Other than that, it was pretty good!

We really like this. It was good. It is worth the time to make. Really easy to make.

I made this recipe and absolutely loved it! A perfect twist to making Mexican food for dinner :)

I was happy with this recipe, but next time I will use hard com taco shells to add a bit of crunch to it.

I tried this a couple of weeks ago and it turned out well! I used less cheese than indicated when I baked it because I have dairy allergies, but my boyfriend put more cheese on what he dished out and enjoyed it just as well. I used tomato soup and salsa and enjoyed the extra tomato flavor. I also added extra corn tortilla pieces to help balance out the amount of beef used. Thanks for a great recipe!

I prepared this with the flour tortillas. I cut tortillas three together, in squares. They stuck together and we thought was very good. Will fix it again.

I suggest corn tortillas over flour, because flour turns out doughy every time. Besides, corn is the original and works great with baked dishes like enchiladas. So many restaurants put them together and throw them in front of you with a little sauce on top. Not the same ... ever! Better baked.

it says use corn...I tried this a few years ago, now I am going to make it again....I already know its ooooh so gooood!!!

it looks & sounds so.... good. From what I've heard from these comments, I'm gonna omit the tomato soup I'm gonna add some salsa & to seasoning mix. Can't wait to try it. Can I substitute the tortilla shells for nacho cheese Doritos.

yes you can, leave them whole, don't crush.... I have done it a few time with the nacho and the taco flavor...

I also didnt use the tomato soup instead used a tomato sauce & added rotel w/ jalepenos..used a bit of cayenne (to taste) & 2 cups of cheese Mexican style---It was a hit!! :)

THIS IS A REAL WINNER! LOVED IT! ADDED THE PACKAGE OF TACO SEASONING, ROTEL TOMATOES AND MEXICORN. YUMMMMM

We are going to use Rotel Hot Diced Tomatoes and Chilies. Sounds good enough to experiment with...lol. Thanks for the previous comments on this dish.

That Sounds Really Good

get rid of the tomatoe soup ! use a good tomatoe sauce and kick it up about ten notches...Sazo'n Goya is excelent.... you can find it in the Mexican food section of larger groceries....or your local Supermacardo....enjoy !

No taco flavor here just a dish of soupy meat. Won't be making this again, very blah.

looks very very good

Too bland the way it is. Zip it up with a package of taco seasoning and I like to add Southwest style Mexicorn even if it is more like a tamale pie. Tastes better and adds more texture.

This has got to be a good recipe. Plan to make it soon. Thanks Mr. Food!!

I think it needs a package of Taco seasoning. If you put corn, onions and bell peppers in, you are almost making Tamale pie. Not Taco bake. Just my thought on it.

Hello! Thanks for your message. Some of our recipes do have nutritional information analyzed by the American Diabetes Association, and we are working on adding nutritional info to all of our recipes. They usually do type in the calorie, fat grams, etc. Don't know why they didn't for this one.

OK not quite tacos, but a good Mexi-recipe with some modifications to give it some zip. I added about 1/3 cup each of cut corn, chopped onions, and chopped green pepper. Also about 1/2 teaspoon chili power and some hot pepper. Used a 4-cheese Mexican blend. Served topped with chopped tomatoes and shredded lettuce, sour cream, and more picante sauce.

Recipe was very good. Next time I make this for my family I am going to add a can of mexican corn to it.

It all looks good. I have made this a little extra on mexican spice taco chips and bake.

All the recipes on your site are yummy! I wish the statistics (Calories, fat grams, sodium, etc) were included.

I'm thinking it wil be good and can still add chopped tomatoes, shredded lettuce and sour cream on top too

I would definately recommend this recipe. I used the medium salsa which gave it a little kick. It was soooo good!!!
