Parmesan Popovers

No matter the celebration, our Parmesan Popovers will add a special touch to your bread basket. Popovers are a cinch to make with our easy recipe, and the extra flavor from the Parmesan cheese makes your homemade popovers an instant hit!

Serves: 6

Cooking Time: 25 min

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Coat a 6-cup muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray.
     
  2. Reserve 1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese.
     
  3. In a large bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients, beating with a wooden spoon until smooth. Pour the batter into the muffin cups and sprinkle with the reserved Parmesan cheese.
     
  4. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until golden and puffy.
     
  5. Cool slightly before removing from the muffin cups. Serve immediately.
