Mocha Frosting

Who could ask for anything better in a frosting? You might not need to make coffee, too, since it's already in here!

Makes: 3/4 cup

Cooking Time: 10 min

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup heavy cream
• 1 teaspoon instant coffee granules
• 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
• 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Instructions

1. In a small heavy saucepan, combine cream and coffee over medium heat and stir until coffee dissolves. Add chocolate chips and stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in confectioners' sugar. Chill until frosting reaches spreading consistency.

Notes

This makes enough to frost the top of an 8-inch square cake or pan of brownies.
