Cooking Time: 35 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 1/2 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 4 pounds chicken wings or drumettes
What To Do:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. In a large bowl, combine the ketchup, vinegar, and brown sugar; mix well.

  2. Split the wings at each joint and discard tips; rinse, then pat dry. Add the chicken to the mixture and toss to coat well. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet that has been coated with nonstick vegetable spray. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, reserving the sauce for brushing on the chicken before grilling.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Brush chicken with the sauce and grill for 8 to 10 minutes, until lightly crisp, turning often to prevent burning.

  4. Makes about 32 pieces.
