Chicken Teriyaki

Whether you are grilling or broiling, here's a way to zest up your chicken. The marinade does all the flavoring.

Serves: 8

Cooking Time: 15 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 8 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
What To Do:
  1. In a large bowl, mix together all the ingredients except the chicken. Add the chicken breast, cover, and marinate for up to 1/2 hour in the refrigerator.

  2. When ready to cook, heat the oven to broil, remove the chicken to a broiler pan, discarding excess marinade. Broil the chicken for 5 to 7 minutes per side, or until the chicken is fork tender and no pink remains.
