Comment On This Article

Americans love to barbecue and we love chicken. Here's a "honey" of a way to combine both passions, with down-home-tasting, quick-cooking chicken breasts.

Serves: 4

Cooking Time: 35 min

What You'll Need:
  • 6 to 8 chicken breast halves, (not skinless and boneless)
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons prepared mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
What To Do:
  1. Preheat a barbecue grill. Place the chicken breast halves on the grill and cook for 20 to 30 minutes or until no pink remains.

  2. Meanwhile, in a medium-sized bowl, combine the remaining ingredients, then brush over the cooked chicken. Grill the chicken for 5 minutes more.

  3. Makes 1 cup of sauce.

Notes

You might want to give this a little more snap by adding some chopped scallions to the honey glaze.
