Satisfy your sweet tooth with these heavenly chocolately cookie balls that are like a winter wonderland for your taste buds!

What You'll Need:
  • 1 (1-pound 2-ounce) package cream-filled chocolate sandwich cookies
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (1-pound 8-ounce) package vanilla-flavored almond bark (see Tips)
What To Do:
  1. Coat baking sheets with wax paper.

  2. In a food processor, finely crush sandwich cookies. Add cream cheese and process until thoroughly mixed. Roll into 1/2-inch balls and place on prepared baking sheets. Freeze 30 minutes.

  3. Place almond bark in a large microwave-safe bowl and microwave 1 minute. Stir almond bark and continue to microwave at 15-second intervals until candy is melted and smooth. Do not overheat.

  4. Using a toothpick to hold onto the chocolate balls, dip each ball into melted candy until evenly coated. Shake off excess coating and return to prepared baking sheets. Keep refrigerated.
Tips

You may substitute almond bark with 4 (6-ounce) packages of white baking bars. Also, if you want to decorate these with sprinkles or colored sugar, be sure to do so before the candy coating hardens, or the decorations won't stick.

These sound delicious, but not everyone has a food processor. ( Suggestions?

If you don't have a food processor, just place the cookies in a plastic bag and crush them with a rolling pin or mallet. Then mix with a beater.

Try the mint filling Oreo Cookies with a chocolate coating! Yummy!

These sound scrumptious! And they can be switched up in a plethora of ways, with all the choices of sandwich cookies out there and the different things you an use for a coating, and what you can use for sprinkling on there is no end!

My daughter-in-law and I had a Christmas cookie baking day and made 15 of Mr Food's recipes and these turned out great. I do have a suggestion however, on the "tips" section it would be helpful to add how to store them. We left them on the counter and the Oreo part became very soft so we cooled them until after dinner. Thanks for pre Christmas goodies.

Can you use melted white chocolate chips instead of the coating? I think the coatings taste like plastic.

Great question, and yes, you can use melted white chocolate chips. Enjoy!

This make the best Christmas gift! On a nice Christmas plate with. Red bow

Mu Hubby;s Birthday would have been on St. Patricks Day. He passed away 10 yrs.ago. I still bake his cake, Now I will also make these on his birthday Day, & for St. Patrick's Day of course. Going to try to today, & see how they turn out.

One of my daughters favorites. Her birthday is St Patrick's day. I use green candy coating and gold edible glitter.

I think I might try these using chocolate mint sandwich cookies!

A favorite Christmas "gifting" idea.....

you could also just buy the different color of chocolate wafers at any craft store to melt and drizzle on top or even cover them in different colors like red green for christmas orange and yellow for halloween even pink and blue for baby shower

These are incredibly easy to make. I recommend crumbling some of the cookies on top of the coated ball before the coating hardens. I used two forks to roll the ball in the coating and found it was much more effective than using the toothpick. For an alternative decoration, after the balls harden with the white coating, I melted some red chocolate morsels in a plastic bag and drizzled over the balls. If you divide the toll house christmas colored morsels by color, you will have red, green and chocolate morsels to melt and use as decorations on these balls.
