Wow! Tuna and Corn Skillet is a rich, robust one-pot meal that's easy to prepare and even easier to enjoy! And it's a fish dish that joins the best of the Coast and the Heartland.

What You'll Need:
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 (10-3/4-ounce) can cream of shrimp soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 (17-ounce) can whole-kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (12-1/4-ounce) can tuna, drained and flaked
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
What To Do:
  1. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; add onion and saute 2 to 3 minutes, until tender and translucent.

  2. Stir in soup and milk. Add corn, tuna, and pepper; heat through, stirring occasionally.

Makes about 4 cups.

Notes

Serve over hot cooked rice. With a side salad and warm rolls, Tuna and Corn Skillet is a great quick meal.

I was scared by the cream of shrimp soup and have to admit that I haven't eaten it myself. But I made it for my husband who likes it. He said he would add more onion and some celery next time. And he added hot sauce to it when he ate it. But I'll make it again for him because it was a really easy recipe.

Add some imitation seafood and sherry.

Wal-Mart in Texas does carry cream of shrimp soup or at least where I live it does going to try this tomarrow night

To me, cream of shrimp soup don't even sound good. Can maybe cream od mushroom be used ?

Yes..cream of shrimp soup. Wal-Mart does not carry it, but better grocery stores will have it. I always use English peas, not corn. Use 3/4 cup chopped onion. This is so good served over hot rice. I've served Chow Mien noodles with it, but we prefer the rice.

Cream of shrimp soup?

Campbell's makes a condensed Cream of Shrimp soup. If your local grocery store does not carry it, ask the store manager to order it for you. Thank you for your question!
