Banana Split Waffles

Waffles furnish a crispy base for this breakfast bread-turned-dessert. Feel free to substitute chopped maraschino cherries or sliced strawberries for the pineapple if you'd like. Or offer all three and let others decide!

Serves: 4

What You'll Need:
  • 4 frozen waffles, toasted
  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) can pineapple tidbits or crushed pineapple, drained
  • Chocolate syrup or hot fudge topping
What To Do:
  1. Place 1 toasted waffle on each of 4 dessert plates. Place a 1/2 cup of ice cream on each waffle. Top each serving with banana slices, pineapple, and chocolate syrup. Serve immediately.
