Chocolate Malted Pops

No straws and no blender are needed for this malted. It takes just a few quick strokes, then we pop them in the freezer for solid refreshment.

Serves: 8

Preparation Time: 3 hr

Ingredients
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1/4 cup chocolate malted milk powder (see Note)
  • 8 five-ounce paper cups
  • 8 non-toxic wooden craft sticks
Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ice cream and malted milk powder; stir until well combined.

  2. Divide the mixture evenly among the paper cups, then place a wooden stick in the center of each cup. Place in the freezer for at least 3 hours, until firm.

  3. Serve, or wrap each in plastic wrap and keep frozen until ready to serve.
Notes

Malted milk powder can usually be found next to the cocoa and other drink mixes in the supermarket.
