Lemon Ripple Ice Cream

Every kid dreams of working in an ice cream shop. Wouldn't it be fun to turn your kitchen into your very own ice cream shop? It's easy! Start with our easy Lemon Ripple Ice Cream recipe and a little imagination for a fantasy come true!

Chilling Time: 3 hr

What You'll Need:
  • 1 quart vanilla ice cream, softened
  • 1 (10-ounce) jar lemon curd (see Note)
What To Do:
  1. Place softened ice cream in a large bowl and add lemon curd. Stir, letting ingredients swirl together rather than being totally blended.
     
  2. Place in an airtight storage container. Seal and freeze for at least 3 hours, or until firm.
     

Makes about 1 quart ice cream.



 

Notes

Lemon curd is usually found with the jams and jellies in the supermarket. This is a great rainy day activity to do with the kids! Experiment with your favorite mix-ins...the possibilities are endless!
