What You'll Need

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup orange liqueur
  • 1/2 cup lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange rind (about 1 medium orange)
  • 2 fresh pineapples, peeled, cored, and chunked

What to Do

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium-high heat; stir and heat until sugar is dissolved.
     
  2. Remove pan from heat then add liqueur, lime juice, and orange rind; mix well.
     
  3. Place pineapple in a large bowl then add sugar mixture; toss until well coated.
     
  4. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour before serving, stirring occasionally.

I agree with Little ED, the complete recipe would be a huge help.

After I read the "Ingredients". Under "Instructions". " It said remove from heat." Where did it say to put it on heat? I would like to have your complete recipe. Thank You, ED Miller ecmiller22@windstream.net

Is it possible for you to include the instructions that apparently should have appeared prior to your#1 instruction above? This seems like it would be an excellent way to use pineapple, if we really know how you did it. Thank you!
