Calzones in the morning? You betcha! They're great for breakfast-on-the-go or for brunch. And since they're little rectangles, they're easy to handle and eat.

Serves: 4

Preparation Time: 8 min

Cooking Time: 22 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (12-ounce) package sliced mushrooms
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 (13.8-ounce) can refrigerated pizza dough
  • 8 slices fully cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded Swiss cheese
  • Cooking spray
What To Do:
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add mushrooms; saute 7 minutes or until liquid is almost absorbed. Stir in salt and pepper.

  2. Unroll dough, and pat into a 10- x 14-inch rectangle. Cut dough into quarters to form four 5- x 7-inch rectangles. Arrange mushrooms and bacon on half of one short end of rectangles to within 1/2-inch of edges; sprinkle with cheese.

  3. Fold remaining halves of dough over filling, pressing edges firmly to seal. Place on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Spray tops of dough with cooking spray. Bake 13 minutes or until golden.
