It’s the last fling of summer.
Yes, Labor Day is here.
And it’s time to say "Thank you" to everyone we hold dear,
Those who serve and protect us, both near and far –
From the police to the firefighters and our military – each one is a star.
 

Working shifts day and night, it only seems right
That now, as we gather in parks or our yards –
Grilling burgers and hot dogs – it just doesn’t seem that hard
To remember those men and women working today as we should,
And be thankful to them as we’re all 'round our table filled with…
