  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar

I agree w/ladytopaz.....hot dog rolls not necessary. Buttered Hawaiian rolls on the side are so good.

ok, you are messing up "Beenie-Weenies". Just get a couple cans of pork and beans and pour into a medium sized pot. Cut the hot dogs in 1/2 inch pieces ( this is because little children can't take that big of a bite ) and heat thoroughly . Donot put it on a bun. Serve a piece of bread and butter on the side if you want to.

Instead of the hot dog buns, what about little rolls cut top off take out some dough and you have little bread bowls for the beenie weenies.

I agree ladytopaz. And I fix fried potatoes and onions to go along with this. CountryFroggy
