Mexican Twist

Don't be so quick to get out your blue suede shoes and poodle skirt! This twist is served up on the kitchen table, not the dance floor.

What You'll Need:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 (15 ½ ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
  • 1 (14 ½ ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 2 (1 ½ ounce each) envelopes dry taco seasoning mix
  • 8 ounces spiral pasta
What To Do:
  1. In a 6-quart soup pot, over high heat, brown ground beef and onion 8 to 10 minutes, until no pink remains in beef and onion is tender. Add remaining ingredients except pasta; mix well.
     
  2. Bring to a boil, then stir in pasta. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 15 to 18 minutes, or until pasta is tender.
