Serves: 6

Cooking Time: 40 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed (1/2 of a 17½-ounce package)
  • 4 large ripe pears, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced (see Note)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
What To Do:
  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degree F.

  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to 10" x 15". Place on a rimmed baking sheet. Lay the pear slices on the dough, slightly overlapping the slices and covering the entire surface of the dough.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over the pears. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the pastry is golden; allow to cool.

  4. In a small bowl, combine the sour cream and brown sugar, then gently spread over the tart. Cover loosely and chill until ready to serve.
Notes

No pears? Don't worry, apples work just as well here.
