Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie

They say that we eat with our eyes as well as our mouths and if that's true then you'll want to devour this Black Bottom Banana Cream Pie! It's easy on the eyes and bliss in the belly! Yum-my!

Makes: 1 (9-inch) pie

Chilling Time: 1 hr 30 min

Cooking Time: 8 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 1/2 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs (about 10 crackers)
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (3.4-ounce) package vanilla or banana cream-flavored instant pudding mix
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1 3/4 cups frozen whipped topping, thawed and divided
  • 1 1/4 cups peeled, sliced bananas
What To Do:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine cracker crumbs and butter, stirring well. Press in bottom and up sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
     
  2. Bake 8 minutes. Remove from oven; let cool on a wire rack.
     
  3. Combine pudding mix and milk in a medium bowl, stirring 1-1/2 minutes with a wire whisk. Gently fold 1 cup whipped topping into pudding mixture. Store remaining whipped topping in refrigerator.
     
  4. Arrange banana slices over prepared crust. Spoon pudding mixture over banana slices. Cover and chill 1-1/2 hours or until set. Pipe or spoon remaining 3/4 cup whipped topping around edge of pie just before serving.
