What You'll Need

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 3 (1-ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 1/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 eggs, beaten

Hi Test Kitchen Team! I love chocolate but HATE pecans so if I make a plain chocolate fudgy pie is the cooking time still the same?? Thanks!

I'm not a fan of sour cream, so is it possible to use cool whip?

Hi there! This recipe does not call for sour cream. If you are referring to the whipped topping (pictured) you can definitely serve this pie with some frozen whipped topping on it. Enjoy!

I made this today, I put 3 oz. milk chocolate chips instead of unsweetened chocolate. It was great, my husband Had 2 pieces!
