Lacy Ice Cream Pie

The lacy chocolate topping gives this a crunch that'll win you over bite after bite.

Serves: 8

Preparation Time: 2 hr

Ingredients
  • 1 container (7.25 ounces) chocolate-flavored hard-shell topping (see Note)
  • 1 nine-inch graham cracker pie crust
  • 1 quart chocolate chip ice cream, softened
Instructions
  1. Pour half of the hard-shell topping into the bottom of the pie crust, spreading carefully up the sides until the entire crust is coated. Spread half of the ice cream over the hard-shell topping. Drizzle half of the remaining hard-shell topping over the ice cream in a criss-cross pattern.

  2. Repeat the layers, ending with the hard-shell topping. Cover loosely and freeze for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes

Hard-shell ice cream topping can usually be found with the other toppings and sauces in the ice cream or baking section of your supermarket.
