Sweet, sour, and oh so yummy, this Ham Steak Hawaiian is a killer! Look out for this yummy dish because once you start eating, you won't be able to stop!

Serves: 4

Cooking Time: 15 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
  • 1 (1/2-inch thick) slice fully cooked ham (about 1 pound)
What To Do:
  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in a large skillet; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and butter melts.

  2. Add ham slice; cook over medium heat 5 minutes on each side or until thoroughly heated.

Notes

You can substitute white wine vinegar for red wine vinegar in this speedy entree. Red and white wine vinegars both have a pleasantly pungent flavor that, teamed with the brown sugar, gives the sauce a sweet-and-sour twang!
