Sage Breakfast Sausage

What a perfect way to celebrate a new day! Yup, with homemade breakfast sausage that's easy enough to make anytime! Boy, won't they be impressed when you tell them you made it from scratch!

Cooking Time: 10 min

What You'll Need:
  • 1 pound ground pork or veal
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons ground sage
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
What To Do:
  1. In a medium-sized bowl, combine all the ingredients except the oil; mix well. Divide the mixture into 16 equal amounts and make 16 patties.

  2. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and pan-fry the patties for 6 to 8 minutes or until no pink remains. Makes 16 patties.
