Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 cups 1 percent low-fat milk
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon low-sodium jarred chicken soup base
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Instructions
  1. In a small saucepan, gradually whisk milk into flour until smooth; cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, 3 to 5 minutes or until mixture is thickened and bubbly. Whisk in soup based and pepper.
