Back to Basics Vinaigrette

Every salad dressing doesn't have to be totally unusual. Once in a while it's time to get back to basics, and our Back to Basics Vinaigrette recipe will do the trick.

Ingredients

• 1 cup olive oil
• 1/4 cup white vinegar
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Place all ingredients in a medium bowl. Using a whisk, mix until well blended. Serve immediately, or cover and chill until ready to serve.
    

Makes 1-1/4 cups dressing.
 

Note

If the olive oil turns cloudy after chilling, let it stand at room temperature for a few minutes then whisk again.
