What You'll Need:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 (28 ounce) can tomato puree
  • 1 (10-1/2 ounce) can French onion soup, undiluted

  • 1 (9-ounce) package refrigerated cheese-filled tortellini
  • 1 zucchini, chopped
What To Do:
  1. In a Dutch oven, brown ground beef, stirring until it crumbles and is no longer pink; drain in a colander, discarding drippings. Return meat to Dutch oven.

Can you make this in a crock pot or slow cooker and if so on what setting for how long? I figured I could cook the ground beef first then it prolly wouldnt have to be cooked long right? And can I use can green beans instead of frozen or would that make a difference?

What an awesome recipe! Both my husband and I love the flavors. I used ground chicken instead of beef. Delicious!
