A dry turkey is the bane of many people's existence on Thanksgiving day. You will find lots of tricks and suggestions to keep that from taking place that might or may not work. A turkey brine is a liquid that you soak the raw bird in before you bake, roast, or barbeque it. It is one trick that is almost certain to work. There are hundreds, if not thousands of turkey brine quality recipes, but a basic understanding of the science is all you really need.

Thanks yo so much for the terrific recipes. I used to enjoy watching Mr. Food on television and always wondered what happened to him.
