Sweet and Sour Irish Cabbage

Sweet and Sour Irish Cabbage hails from Ireland and is a great St. Patrick's Day side dish. Serve with corned beef for real Irish flavor!

Serves: 3

Cooking Time: 25 min

What You'll Need:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 cups (half of a medium-sized head) shredded green cabbage
What To Do:
  1.  In a large skillet, heat all ingredients except cabbage over medium heat 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
     
  2.  Add cabbage and stir to coat. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer 20 minutes.
