I am a senior who is disabled I have a wonderful neighbor who helps me trying to repay her I bake a lot of these recipes, they are great love them

Have made this many many times and it is delicious! You can substitute lemon pudding for the banana pudding. My son loves to use lemon pudding and a can of blueberry pie filling. Cherry pie filling is also good with vanilla or chocolate pudding. The possibilities are endless!!!I find it is best if it is chilled overnight. Everything has a chance to really firm up. Sometimes I use real whipped cream instead of cool whip and cooked lemon pudding instead of instant. Depends on how much time I have. Also, be sure to really let the crust cool before spreading the cream cheese filling. This is definitely a keeper!!!!

I want to know if using ground nuts mixed with butter and graham cracker crust would be alright for those who have a hard time of chewing nuts. Kind of making the nuts into a powder. What do you think would this work okay? 03marjorie5077195

I think that the ground nuts would be great. It might even enhance the flavor of the crust. It would give it even more of a short bread cookie crust.

I made this dessert a couple of weeks ago and it was a huge hit. I made it with banana pudding instead of vanilla. I thought it tasted great. I only need 3 bananas instead of 4 and I used walnuts in stead of pecans because that's what had in my pantry. This recipe is definitely a keeper!

would the banana pudding be too much with the bananas? can't wait to make it.

IT is up to your taste. I don't think so, but you might. How much do you like bananas?

I've made banana putting simular to this recipe and I used one box banana and one box vanilla pudding. It adds just enough banana flavor. Not to weak and not too strong.

I made this same recipe with Lemon pudding and it went over very well! Do I need to put the bananas in lemon juice to keep them from browning before I put them in the pudding?

yes

I don't have a rating yet for this recipe. I am planning to make this for dessert tonight with the Orange glazed bundles. My husband loves bananas so I'm hoping he will like the dessert.
