This frosting is so creamy and chocolaty, you're going to want to spread it over everything! Our Creamy Chocolate Frosting is an easy, homemade frosting recipe that's rich in flavor. It's the perfect frosting for your next birthday cake or bake sale cupcakes! 

What You'll Need:
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup half-and-half
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
What To Do:
  1. In a saucepan over medium-low heat, heat butter, half-and-half, and chocolate chips until chocolate is melted; stirring occasionally. Remove from heat; let cool 15 minutes. Stir in powdered sugar until smooth.
  2. With an electric mixer on medium speed, beat about 2 to 3 minutes or until creamy and smooth.
  3. Use immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
