Dear Test Kitchen Team, If I wanted to cook this in a slow cooker and add white wine to it how much would I add and at what point of the cooking time would I add it in?? Also, boneless breasts would not work with this, you need to use bone-in chicken only correct?

Hello! Yes chicken cacciatore can be cooked in slow cooker with 1/3 cup white wine added with all other ingredients. Boneless chicken breasts would work in this recipe, just need to cut down on cooking time and the chicken might be alittle drier then using bone-in chicken. Bone-in chicken on high will cook 3 to 4 hours or on low 7 to 9 hours. Boneless chicken breasts will cook on high 2 to 2 1/2 hours or on low 4 to 5 hours.

I don't have a pressure cooker and was wondering if I could use the same recipe in a slow cooker? If so how long and would it not be better to stir the ingredients before pouring over the chicken? Thanks

Hi there! You can cook this in a slow cooker on low for 7-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours--or until no pink remains in the chicken! Enjoy! :)
