I love cookie exchanges! My most requested cookie is the classic chocolate chip. This year I will be exchanging peanut butter filled chocolate cookies, and peppermint snowballs. I tried the cranberry bar recipe, it was stellar! I modified it a bit and added raspberries as well. Makes it a little bit sweeter but still with the signature tartness of cranberries.

This will the first year my job is doing a cookie exchange. I’m always nervous baking for new people cause I want them to like it. So I think I’m going to go really simple with chocolate chip cookies possibly with a touch of peppermint.

I will be making a Peanut Butter Fudge to take to the party. This recipe is so easy to make and people love it! Its not too rich; its just right! 🙂

We do not have a cookie exchange but I wish we did. Before I retired we always had a cookie exchange at work, but when I retired I moved back to my small, rural home town (pop. 200) where I grew up and they don’t do that here. Since I was always known for my good cookies at work, i now I enjoy making them for my family.
