Though it’s not for everyone,Its always been around at Christmas. But I prefer pecan pie.
Make them for others, but our family does not want any part of them. I only use the items that i like and have relatives that help pay the cost of ingredients. Not a bad job.

YES! LOVE Claxton fruitcakes and usually pick up a couple after Christmas and keep in the freezer, so I can enjoy them throughout the year. As for the featured dessert, it’s very pretty, and I’d definitely try it.

I have enjoyed many fruitcakes in my 60+ years and also baked a few old fashioned type. The old fashion type is the one that I like the best, it also reminds me the most of Christmas.
