    OMG anything cheesy for the vegetarian. But my very favourite is Howard’s Carrot and Cauliflower soup, this has been my “go to” dish for the last couple of weeks and another batch will be on the stove tomorrow.

    Who can resist meatloaf and mashed potatoes? Everything about them says “comfort” – just the warm, tantalizing aroma of the meatloaf coming from the oven reminds you of home, your mom, your childhood… AND even better, it’s soo good!

    My favorite comfort food is potatoes in cream sauce. My grandmother made this for me as a kid. I would love to have her recipe for it. Unfortunately she passed away before I could get it. I have a recipe that my mom got. I make it, but it just not as good as grandma’s was.. But it does bring back a lot of good memories.

    My ultimate comfort food is pot roast with potatoes and carrots. It’s what I wanted for my birthday dinner every year as a child. I make it often for my family, but mine never turns out as fantastic as my mom made it for me!

    My G’mas and Mom’s dill gravy and dumplings with ham, meatloaf, sausage. actually any kind of meat. Nothing more like a comforting hug than that. Can’t wait to try the slow cooker sweet\sour meatballs. Sound delicious. love all your recipes, they are always my go to recipes. Easy, simple and delicious.

    The best comfort food is anything my family comes together in the kitchen and makes together, it gives me comfort talking, sharing our day and chopping, cooking up something warm, then sitting at the table and enjoying a low light warm meal. With busy schedules it is what I call comfort food to me.
