Nobody is indifferent about eggnog. You either love it or hate it–no middle ground. I, for one, look forward to getting eggnog every Christmas season. As soon as the calendar changed to December, I knew I could count on seeing a fresh carton of non-alcoholic eggnog in the fridge. I was never a big fan of peppermint or gingerbread, so eggnog was really the taste of Christmas.
I still look forward to enjoying a few glasses of eggnog every year, but I’m even more excited to see that I can turn my favorite holiday drink into a take-along dessert! Our Test Kitchen recently developed a whole bunch of incredible eggnog recipes, and now I’ve just got to decide which ones to make at home!
Starting in the upper left-hand corner and making our way around clockwise, we’ve got:
Holiday Eggnog Pie
No-Bake Eggnog Cheesecake
Classic Homemade Eggnog
Eggnog Monkey Bread
Strawberry Eggnog Pie
What I love the most about all of these easy eggnog recipes is how versatile they all are! The Eggnog Monkey Bread is absolutely perfect for breakfast on Christmas morning. You could even bring the leftovers to wherever you’re travelling on Christmas day to munch on all day long! The Eggnog Cookies would be perfect for your holiday cookie exchange. I like to come up with something new every year, and if you don’t find what you’re looking for on our annual Christmas Cookie Countdown, be sure to try this seasonal favorite. Plus, can you imagine how excellent the Chocolate Eggnog must be? Especially if you decided to warm it up a bit like an even better version of hot chocolate? My mouth is watering just thinking about it!
