It’s been looking a lot like Christmas at my house for a few weeks now. The tree is up, presents are (badly) wrapped beneath, and my toddler is constantly attempting to take decorations off the branches. For the most part, I’m pretty good at figuring out what to get people, but there’s always that one person who seems to have everything, or you just don’t know what to get them. Luckily, when it comes to gifts for the cook I’m pretty well covered thanks to the amazing items at the Mr. Food online store. If you’re reading this, chances are you’re a Mr. Food fan too, so you may just want to get a little something for yourself to impress the holiday crowd around the table this year!
Okay, so the holidays aren’t just about presents, but it always makes me feel warm and fuzzy when someone actually uses a gift that I buy them. While gift cards are popular, they always seem a bit impersonal to me. I think when it comes to gifts for the cook, if you can find that special something to wow them, it’s worth the thought that went into finding it. If someone in your life loves standing by a warm stove to cook up a hearty casserole, make warm a loaf of garlic bread, or fill the house with aroma of fresh baked cookies, Mr. Food may just have the perfect gifts for the cook this Christmas.
For the Hot Beverage Drinker
Baby, its cold outside and a hot drink can provide comfort against the bitter winter. I love wrapping my hands around my favorite teal mug filled with hot coffee in the early mornings. It’s a soothing feeling that starts the day right and gives me the caffeine kick I need to get going. Whether the hot beverage drinker in your life prefers coffee, tea, or a cup of cocoa topped with whipped cream and marshmallows, Mr. Food’s Stoneware Recipe Mugs are the perfect addition to the cabinet.
For the Organizer
If you walk into my kitchen at home, it’s usually a mess. There’s no organization to the spices, dishes are mismatched, and I can’t even remember where we got half the misfit glasses in the cabinet. While I may not have everything perfectly aligned, some people take great pride in the organization of their kitchen—along with the amazing aroma’s coming from the stove. From the plates to the spices, everything has its place—and no one better mess it up! But that doesn’t mean you can’t add a bit of flair to the countertops!
Mr. Food’s “Eat, Share, Enjoy” mentality is reflected on a gorgeous set of ceramic canisters. There’s even have a 3-Piece Stackable 12” Ceramic Canister with Chalkboard Label so you can change it up as needed or maybe just have a little bit of fun with the kitchen décor!
The cook in my kitchen could probably benefit from some of these things too.
For the Baker
Baking, they say, is a science. One that requires exact measurements or you may find that the delectable cake you’ve been working on all day comes out with a less than desirable taste. A baker, I am not. Somehow, it just never comes out right for me. My husband is the baker of the family. He knows how to measure and mix just the right way so that whatever is in the oven comes out perfect.
If the cook in your kitchen has baking down to a science this “Everyday-Basic Collection” 12 Piece Stoneware Batter Bowl Set will have them whipping up their specialty to say thanks. And it comes in three gorgeous colors that will match almost any kitchen!
For The Mr. Food Foodie
And, of course, we can’t forget gifts for the cooks who are always looking for a new recipe! For me, trying out new recipes is always so much fun! Especially if I don’t get it right the first time. It usually means there’s a great memory somewhere in there. Whether it’s to impress the guests, make the family feel cozy around the table, or just to have fun trying something new, Mr. Food has so many amazing cookbooks to help the Foodie in your life. From comfort food, to something for a healthier lifestyle, to our amazing Wheel of Fortune Collectible Cookbook, there’s definitely a mouth-watering option for everyone. So be sure to check out our stock of over 15 flavor-filled cookbooks for the cook in the kitchen!
I hope these items give you food for thought when it comes to finding gifts for the cook in your kitchen.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from the Mr. Food Test Kitchen!
