I love to be with my family, to spend time with them. We love to travel and visit Italy, my husband’s hometown of Naples. We’re very active family with our 2 sons who are very athletic and in sports like Karate and Soccer. In my free time, I love making origami, ceramics, and other crafts.
Favorite Mr. Food recipe: : Secret Ingredient Double Chocolate Cake, especially since my Son’s picture is on page 50 of The Ultimate Cake Mix & More Cookbook.
How often do I cook? Every single day for last 20 years! I have 3 guys with amazing appetites!
Who am I cooking for? My husband Tony and my 2 Sons, Angelo and Antonio.
How long have I been cooking? Formally, since I’ve been married, which has been quite a while.
My biggest challenge in the kitchen: Keeping everything organized.
What profession best describes me in the kitchen? I would describe myself as an Designer as I love to decorate the food on the plates like a canvas.
The kitchen appliance I couldn’t live without: Without a doubt, my coffee machine. It’s a beautiful Italian one like my Hubby.
My ultimate meal: Christmas Dinner. We divide up the menu with our Brothers and Sister so everyone cooks something to make the meal special. I usually pick the desserts ( like Tiramisu and other Italian favorites) since my Brother Marco does a lot of the main meal.
The one food I can’t stand: I can’t stand Octopus and anything that has Corn Meal in it.
The food that instantly takes me back to childhood is: Homemade soups!
If I were a spice, I would be: Sugar Cane that grows in the fields.
My favorite food that grows from the earth is: Passion Fruit (Parchita).
If I could have dinner with anyone in the world, dead or alive, it would be: My Mom.
Sweet tooth, or salt-craver? What’s my weakness?Definitely a sweet tooth girl! I would rather have dessert than my main meal, ask Barb.
