While many people enjoy a large Thanksgiving celebration, that includes the big table piled high with foods to feast on, there are some folks that celebrate this day of giving thanks with a smaller feast for two. As someone who has celebrated “Thanksgiving for Two” before, I have to say that the most challenging aspect is finding traditional recipes that make just the right amount for two. That’s why I’m here to help, and to let you know about an exciting new giveaway that’s perfect for anyone who cooks for just two!
I know, you’re thinking, “What if I just scale a larger recipe down?” Well, this doesn’t always work. And I don’t know about you, but I’m not eating leftovers for more than a couple of days, so I don’t want to make the full recipe either. No worries, here are some great “Thanksgiving for Two” menu ideas straight from MrFood.com:
Clockwise from top left: Wilted Spinach Salad, Turkey & Gravy for Two, Mashed Potatoes for Two, Green Beans Satay, and Special Cranberry Sauce for Two
And what’s Thanksgiving without a little dessert? These easy desserts will really get your mouth watering:
Left to right: Pumpkin Pie in a Mug and Apple Crisp for Two
If Thanksgiving isn’t the only time you’re cooking for two, then you’re going to want to check out all the tasty recipes in our collection of 50 Easy Dinner Recipes for Two.

Am new to the Blog and happy I’ve found it! Hello fans of Mr. Food Test Kitchen, I’m Vonda, I enjoy all the quick & easy shortcut recipes on the t.v. from Mr. Food each morning and have enjoyed the cooking segment for many years. If this is the Thanksgiving conversation I’ve made dinners for two many yrs. However I tend to make enough for drop-ins, friends or family who stop by or I make enough to have leftovers for ‘Black Friday’. T-Day leftovers are easily frozen, too.
Hi Vonda! We’re glad you found our blog too; we’re lucky to have fans like you. 🙂
