Yes, get ready to do a double take with this recipe photo. Rather than making traditional Bruschetta like everyone else, we kicked ours up a notch and used fresh Florida Strawberries as the star of these. When teamed up with the creamy goat cheese and the balsamic glaze, get ready for a treat that will soon become a new anytime favorite.

What You'll Need

  • 1 (12-inch) French baguette, cut into 1/2-inch slices
  • 1 1/2 cup finely diced fresh Florida strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 (4-ounce) log goat cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoon slivered fresh basil
  • Balsamic glaze for drizzling
  • Sea salt for sprinkling

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place baguette slices on a baking sheet and bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until toasted.

  2. Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, combine strawberries and olive oil. Spread a layer of goat cheese on top of baguette slices. Place a spoonful of strawberry mixture on top, then garnish with basil. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and top with a sprinkle of sea salt. Enjoy!
