Deviled Beef Rolls are devilishly good and devilishly easy to make! Roll some up for a quick weeknight dinner or for your next dinner party and you'll have everybody asking to meet the guest chef you have hidden in your kitchen!

What You'll Need

  • 2 tablespoon dried onion soup mix
  • 4 teaspoon water
  • 3 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 4 (6-ounce) cubed steaks
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 (4-ounce) can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 2 tablespoon butter, melted

What to Do

  1. Preheat the broiler.

  2. In a small bowl, combine onion soup mix and water. Let stand 5 minutes.

  3. Stir mustard into onion mixture. Season steaks with pepper and spread mustard-onion mixture over one side of each steak. Arrange sliced mushrooms over the top and roll up each steak jelly roll-style; secure each roll with a toothpick.

  4. Place beef rolls on a broiler pan and brush with 1 tablespoon butter.

  5. Broil rolls 4 to 5 inches from heat source for 4 to 5 minutes. Turn rolls over, brush with remaining 1 tablespoon butter, and broil for another 4 to 5 minutes. Remove toothpicks, slice, and serve.
