Crunch Sticks

These breadsticks are a snap to make and ooh-so-much better than the store-bought variety. They're great served with soup or salad or for just plain snacking!

What You'll Need

  • 1 (12-ounce) can buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 1/2 cup crisp rice cereal, coarsely crushed
  • 2 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 2 tablespoon poppy seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoon milk

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Cut each biscuit in half. Roll each half into a pencil-thin stick.

  2. Combine cereal and seasonings in a shallow pan. Brush sticks with milk. Roll sticks in cereal mixture. Place 2 inches apart on lightly greased baking sheets. 

  3. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.
