It'll look like we spent the day in the kitchen, but this recipe goes together in about an hour, including baking time. And this easy homemade bread gives everything a really zippy taste. Go ahead, give it a swirl!

What You'll Need

  • 1 loaf (16 ounces) frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 3 tablespoon spicy brown mustard
  • 2 tablespoon honey

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Coat a 9- x 5-inch loaf pan with cooking spray.

  2. Place the dough on a piece of plastic wrap and, using your fingers, spread it out to a 9- x 12-inch rectangle.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the mustard and honey; mix well. Spread over the dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.

  4. Pulling the dough up from the plastic wrap, roll up the dough jelly-roll style from the smaller end. Discard the plastic wrap and place the roll seam side down in the loaf pan.

  5. Cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for 30 minutes, or until doubled in size.

  6. Uncover and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Notes

I like to make my own honey mustard with my favorite mustard, but you can certainly use a prepared honey mustard.
