Commercial pizza dough is the secret to this quick flatbread. Serve it with your favorite soup or salad for a tasty combo.

What You'll Need

  • 1 (10-ounce) can refrigerated pizza crust
  • 1/4 cup olive oil, divided
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3/4 cup (3 ounces) shredded Asiago or Parmesan cheese

What to Do

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Unroll pizza crust; place on a baking sheet. Press handle of a wooden spoon into crust to make indentations at 1-inch intervals; brush crust with 2 tablespoons olive oil. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.

  2. Cut onion into thin slices; cut each slice in half. Sauté onion in remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat about 8 minutes or until browned. Add garlic and next 3 ingredients, and sauté 1 minute.

  3. Top pizza crust with onion mixture, and sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
