Bourbon Cream Pecan Pie

We've taken the flavors of ordinary pecan pie to a whole new level by creating a creamy topping that's flavored with bourbon. Bourbon Cream Pecan Pie will surely make a great addition to your holiday-time or anytime spread!

What You'll Need

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tablespoon bourbon
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoon butter
  • 1/2 cup firmly-packed light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans
  • 1 (9-inch) frozen ready-to-bake deep-dish pie shell, thawed

What to Do

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the cream, confectioners' sugar, and bourbon until soft peaks form. Place in refrigerator.
  3. In a large saucepan over medium heat, combine corn syrup, butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt; stir until butter melts. Remove from heat and add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Stir in pecans and pour into pie shell.
  4. Bake 55 to 60 minutes, or until firm. Serve warm or allow to cool before serving, topped with dollops of the bourbon cream.
