Breakfast on the Grill

Breakfast is my favorite meal, and since cooking on the grill is so easy, I like making this quick breakfast for the gang. We all look forward to our special weekend grilled breakfasts, which we enjoy together on the patio.

What You'll Need

  • 1 1/4 pound mild bulk pork sausage
  • 2 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 4 slices American or Cheddar cheese
  • 4 English muffins, split and toasted

What to Do

  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat.

  2. Divide the sausage into 4 equal amounts. Make 4 patties and flatten them to 1/2-inch thickness. Grill them for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the sausage is cooked through and no pink remains, turning once.

  3. Place 2 to 3 slices of egg on top of the patties and top each with a slice of cheese.

  4. Remove the sausage patties to the English muffins and serve immediately.

Notes

No English muffins? No problem! Use bagels, pitas, or toast!
