What You'll Need

  • 3 cup water, divided
  • 1 envelope (1 ounce) Lipton onion soup mix
  • 2 tablespoon all-purpose flour

What to Do

  1. In a small saucepan, bring 2-1/2 cups water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. Stir in the onion soup mix; cover and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 10 minutes or until the onions reconstitute.

  3. In a small bowl, combine the flour and the remaining 1/2 cup water.

  4. Increase the heat to medium-high and add the flour mixture to the onion mixture; bring to a boil. Boil for 2 minutes and serve immediately.

Notes

For a thicker gravy, add an additional tablespoon of flour.
